Guidelines to optimize your online videos
The Video In-Roll is an animated logo that appears at the start of the video. Unlike the Video Signature, this element is optional and can be included if a logo at the beginning of the video is needed.
There are two available versions:
- A transparent background version that can be overlaid on the first 5 seconds of your video.
- A non-transparent version that adds 5 seconds to the beginning of the video.

The Video Signature, featuring the new Solvay logotype, is required for all Group videos (except YouTube, which should use the end card file below).

For YouTube, this 20-second clip to be added to end of your video instead of the audiovisual signature. End Cards are thumbnail overlays which encourage viewers to click to view another video, get more information, visit a website, subscribe to the channel, and more.
A thumbnail in Photoshop must be made to maintain a consistent look-n-feel across the Solvay channel. Choose a picture that captures the essence of the video.
- Resolution must be 1280x720. Minimum of 640x360 pixel.
- Format. JPG, PNG, BMP.
- Image size. Must not exceed 2MB.
- Optimally use a 16:9 aspect
