Bringing our purpose to life: our new logo
As the leader of essential chemistry, we had an opportunity to evolve Solvay’s logo to gain in impact, stature and iconicity.
And what makes our brand truly unique is the Solvay name. A name that carries a timeless legacy of commitment to science and progress.
The new logo focuses on the Solvay wordmark, conveying scientific precision through its net edges and humanity through its roundness and curves.
Our Primary Logo (without Tagline)
These versions must be used on all applications, where possible.
RGB stands for Red, Green and Blue. It's a color coding system based on three primary colors. By mixing these colors at different intensities, it's possible to create a wide range of hues.
It can be applied to office and digital media. In the end, RGB is perfectly suited to web graphics, not at all suitable for printing.

This logo version should be used when you are working with color or dark background, or in case you are using an image as a background.
These logos need to be in PNG format. This format removes the background or makes it transparent, unlike the JPEG format.

CMYK is a color profile for design files. The letters stand for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black. These are the four colored inks that are used in our printing process, so we need your artwork files set up with the CMYK color profile.
It applies to all print communication media (posters, signage, etc.).

The bounding box for the Solvay logo ensures visual clarity and brand consistency across all signage elements. It is defined as follows:
Clear Space: To ensure visibility and impact, a minimum clear space, equivalent to the width of the letter ‘L’ in the Solvay logo, must be maintained around the entire logo.
Proportions: The logo must be centered within the bounding box and scaled proportionally to maintain the integrity of the logo’s dimensions.
Exceptional use logo
This version of the logotype is used for office applications and printing constraints.
